Among the 2023 Ford Lineup, arguably the most anticipated model is the 2023 F-150 Raptor R. It recently underwent a major revamp along with the rest of the truck line. Going forward, the new F-150 Raptor R will be the pinnacle of the brand's off-road performance with its supercharged powertrain. Fortunately, Lowell Ford is here to tell you about this strikingly powerful and handsome pickup.

Performance
Ford introduces the mega-horsepower engine for the F-150 Raptor R. It uses Mustang GT500's supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 Predator engine, which generates an astounding 700 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. This means improvements of up to 250 horsepower and 130 pound-feet of torque over the standard model.
Its 10-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels, and its redesigned front axle and driveshaft help to handle the extra torque. In terms of fuel economy, the F-150 Raptor is rated at 15 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway.
Off-road performance technology is also included with the Raptor R. Several drive modes are available for terrains such as snow, dirt, and sand. In addition, Ford offers Trail Turn Assist, which locks the inside rear wheel to help the truck turn and rotate more tightly. Trail Control, which has a one-pedal operation, is also made easier off-road driving. The truck maintains its speed while allowing drivers to concentrate on the terrain ahead, similar to cruise control.
Exterior and Interior
SuperCrew is the only body style available for the F-150 Raptor. The Raptor R takes the distinctive styling cues of Ford's F-150 Raptor to new heights. The truck's hood features a more distinct power bulge than the standard model. Black bumpers and fender flares accompany the Raptor's trademark "F O R D" grille.
With a factory lift kit, the Raptor R has a functional look and 13.1 inches of usable ground clearance. Raptor R tires are 37 inches instead of 35 inches for better ground clearance and traction.
There will be a spacious, comfortable cabin in the Raptor R, like in the standard F-150. Ford uses carbon fiber trim in the cabin, and the Recaro sports seats are upholstered in black leather and Alcantara.
